Robotic cutting boxes greatly increase the flexibility of movement and the speed at which complex jobs can be cut.

They allow cuts to be made at an angle to reduce or eliminate subsequent machining operations on the work-piece (e.g. directly cutting the profile in preparation for welding).

The cutting box allows cutting to take place in all three planes without danger to personnel or equipment.

Size

Cutting boxes are only restricted by the movement of the chosen robot. However, should your application require it, multiple robots can be installed in a single cutting box allowing a greater flexibility of cut and increased productivity.

Speed

Our robotic cutting boxes are tailored to suit your specification and can run at speeds up to 10m / second , although the maximum speed will be determined by the material you are cutting.

Control

The robot comes complete with a full CNC controller to allow cutting programmes to be set-up from engineering drawings or programmed using its simple operator interface.

Materials (and moulds) are loaded onto a rotating cutting table which rotates in and out of the cutting box allowing larger (and sometimes heavy) work pieces to be placed in the cutting box with ease. Multiple cutting tables can be installed to allow jobs to be exchanged quickly when downtime needs to be kept to a minimum.
